Borghi dei Tesori Fest 2025 in Prizzi

The 2025 edition of the Borghi dei Tesori Fest involved dozens of Sicilian towns over three weekends in May, with Prizzi as a protagonist of the final weekend. The Sicani Mountains village, in the province of Palermo, opened its Arab-style alleys, churches, and most beloved sites to the public.

Among the experiences offered in the festival villages were visits to churches and monasteries, bread-making in the square, 'pignoccata' tastings, and walks in green spaces. In Prizzi, the narrative focused on the tradition of the Ballo dei Diavoli and the identity of the historic center. Thanks to the Borghi dei Tesori association award, the municipality was able to allocate resources to the restoration of the iconic murals at Spiazzo Sparacio.
