Edition 2025 — Borghi dei Tesori
The 2025 edition of the Borghi dei Tesori Fest in Petralia Soprana took place on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, with sites open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00 on both days. Among the sites visitable: Palazzo Pottino (with a photographic exhibition), the Town Hall housed in the former Carmelite convent, the Frate Umile Library in a 1611 monastery, the Civic Museum of Memory and the Present, and Villa Sgadari with the Museum of the Sicilian Cart and Puppet.
The program of experiences included, on Saturday, a tasting of local products "From Earth to Table" organized by the Pro Loco (12:00-13:00), the guided itinerary "Narrating Petra" (16:00), and a flag-wavers' performance in Piazza Duomo (18:30); on Sunday, an urban trek between the village and its surroundings (09:00-13:00). Nearby hamlets, such as the Borgo di Raffo, proposed the traditional Ballo della Cordella.
