Edition 2025 — Borghi dei Tesori

In 2025, Burgio also took part in the Borghi dei Tesori Fest, on the weekend of May 10 and 11, as part of the edition that involved dozens of small Sicilian villages. The Sicani Mountains town, in the province of Agrigento, opened its churches, bell foundries, and ceramic workshops, confirming an artisanal and devotional tradition that makes Burgio one of the most fascinating stops on the circuit.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, Burgio, in the province of Agrigento, participated in the Borghi dei Tesori Fest on the weekend of May 10 and 11, together with the other small municipalities of the Sicani Mountains belonging to the Le Vie dei Tesori circuit.

Bells, ceramics, and sacred heritage

The village opened the symbolic places of its identity: the last bell foundries still active in Sicily, the historic ceramic workshops with their unmistakable tin-glazed majolica, and the rich sacred heritage, including the churches of the center and the Capuchin convent. A proposal that combined craftsmanship, faith, and memory, anticipating the success of the following year's edition.
