Borgalino Living Nativity

The 2024/2025 edition of the Borgalino Living Nativity kicked off on December 22, 2024, with openings on December 26 and 29, 2024, and January 5 and 6, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM. The ancient streets of the Borgalino district in Canicattì were transformed into an evocative living nativity scene curated by the Li Tri Re Association.

Visitors were able to immerse themselves in the Christmas atmosphere of the past, discovering traditional crafts recreated in artisan workshops and tasting local specialties: eggs, ricotta, pani cunzatu, chickpeas, cannoli, and wine. The event concluded on January 6th with the historical pageant of the Three Wise Men and the Nativity performance at the Church of Santo Spirito, continuing a tradition that has been renewed in Canicattì since 1870.
