Edition 2025 — Boretto Cross

The 2025 edition of Boretto Cross confirmed the event as one of the regular fixtures on the cross-country running calendar for the province of Reggio Emilia. At the Saccani Stadium in Boretto, in the Po river floodplain, athletes of all categories competed on the dirt paths, in the usual winter climate that characterizes Emilian cross-country, under the organization of local clubs.

In 2025, the Boretto Cross once again enlivened the sporting winter of the Bassa Reggiana, confirming itself as one of the races in the provincial FIDAL cross-country championship of Reggio Emilia. The Saccani Stadium in Boretto hosted numerous local clubs, with athletes ranging from youth categories to masters competing on the Po river floodplain courses. The event, organized by U.S. Folgore Boretto and Atletica Guastalla-Reggiolo with the patronage of the Municipality of Boretto, reaffirmed the value of cross-country as a popular and inclusive discipline, capable of uniting different generations in the same riverside setting.
