Bonfires of Saint Anthony Abbot 2025 in Volturino

On Friday, January 17, 2025, for the feast of Saint Anthony Abbot, Volturino renewed the ancient tradition of "U Fòche de Sant'Andòne". The great bonfire lit in the square illuminated the evening of the small village in the Foggia area, drawing hundreds of people around the fire for one of the most anticipated winter nights in the Monti Dauni.

The festival, which had risked fading over the years, was revived with renewed enthusiasm thanks to the Ananke Volturino association and the Municipality of Volturino as an opportunity to promote local cultural and historical heritage. Around the flames, there was no shortage of folk music and tastings of local products, which transformed the square into a place of meeting and community.
