Bonfire of Saint Anthony Abbot — Lu Laute

In 2025, the feast of Saint Anthony Abbot in Vinchiaturo renewed the rite of «lu laute», the bonfire lit in the center of the village in the province of Campobasso. On the evening of January 17th, after Mass, the blessing of animals and the distribution of «ri sciusce» took place.

A celebration that, as every year, combined religious devotion with the flavors and gestures of Molise's peasant tradition.
