Bomminella Fair

The 2025 edition of the Bomminella Fair took place from September 6th to 8th in the historic center of Cisternino (BR), with a widespread program curated by the Pro Loco, the Culture Council, and local associations. Between photographic exhibitions in the historic towers, itinerant musical performances, theater, and pizzica, the white village of the Itria Valley accompanied visitors until the day of the fair, September 8th, with the usual market and artists among the alleys.

The gastronomic side was not missing, with 'a cupptèdd, mutton broth, and other specialties of Cistranese cuisine offered in the town's restaurants.

Saturday, September 6th

• 6:00 PM — Pro Loco (via Castello): presentation of events and launch of the #bomminella25 contest
• 6:30 PM — Civic Tower: "20 shots from the past" photo exhibition
• 8:30 PM — Historic center: itinerant performance by the Bee Band

Sunday, September 7th

• 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM — Clock Tower: cultural exhibitions
• 6:45 PM — Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III: pizzica lesson by Gisella Di Palermo
• 7:45 PM — Municipal Villa: theater with Giuseppe Ciciriello and Piero Santoro
• 8:30 PM — Through the village streets: "arrival of the merchants" and fair stories

Monday, September 8th

• All day — The historic annual fair, with market and artists in the alleys of the historic center
• 6:30 PM — Porta Grande: Gathering of the "Liberi Suonatori"
