Edition 2025 — BFFB

The 38th edition of the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen took place from April 4th to 13th, 2025, at the FILMCLUB Capitol in Bolzano. Opening with the Italian premiere of Little Trouble Girls by Urška Djukić and closing with Mariana Trench by Eileen Byrne, the festival featured a focus on Taiwanese cinema and honored screen personalities with lifetime achievement awards.

The 38th edition (2025)

The 38th edition of the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen took place from April 4th to 13th, 2025, at the FILMCLUB Capitol in Bolzano. The opening night featured the Italian premiere of Little Trouble Girls by Slovenian director Urška Djukić, while the closing was marked by the tragicomedy Mariana Trench by Eileen Byrne.

The international jury awarded the prize for Best Film to Wind, Talk to Me by Stefan Đorđević. Lifetime achievement awards were presented to actress Alba Rohrwacher and director Christian Petzold. The edition also hosted a focus on Taiwanese cinema and the presentation of works created with artificial intelligence by director Alexander Kluge.
