Bolzano Carnival / Fasnacht Bozen

The 2025 edition of the Bolzano Carnival stood out for the richness of its program spread across the districts and for the shows in the historic center. Neighborhood parties enlivened Parco delle Semirurali, the Talvera Festival Grounds, Firmian, and Piazza Nikoletti between mid and late February, with masquerade parades, games, magic, and family entertainment. In Oltrisarco, the L'Orizzonte Youth Center offered "Carnevale 2025 Fantasy Worlds".

The weekend of March 1st and 2nd brought the party into the heart of the city with PARATA!MASK, a traveling mask parade with live music and the city mask Brattarello, the street show "La Mandragola" freely adapted from Machiavelli, and the float parade by the Nuovo Gruppo Carnevalesco Pineta, which traveled the streets from Via Alessandria to Via Torino. The event was supported by the Teatro Stabile di Bolzano, Stivalaccio Teatro, Caraval Spettacoli, and Cooperativa 19.
