Edition 2025 — BolsenArte

The 2025 summer edition of the BolsenArte Summer Music Festival featured a series of free evening concerts in late July, all starting at 9:30 PM. Percussion quartets, piano recitals, and saxophone ensembles performed across the village's historic squares and lakeside, upholding the formula that has made the festival on Lake Bolsena famous.

BolsenArte Summer Music Festival 2025

The 2025 summer series, promoted by the Bolsena Municipal Department of Culture under the artistic direction of Francesco Traversi, brought great live music to the village's squares and lakeside, all with free admission.

Highlights included the "Ripercussioni" percussion quartet in Piazza della Rocca performing works by John Cage, Giovanni Sollima, Steve Reich, and Astor Piazzolla; a recital by pianist Marta Tacconi on the lakeside dedicated to the works of Giancarlo Aquilanti; and the Morlacchi saxophone quartet from the Perugia Conservatory, performing a repertoire ranging from Bach to contemporary music. This edition served as a prelude to the major 20th-anniversary milestone scheduled for 2026.
