Edition 2025 — Great Performers

The 2025 edition of the Great Performers featured seven exceptional concerts between PalaDozza and the Manzoni Auditorium, from May 2nd to October 17th. Among the protagonists were the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Riccardo Muti, the London Symphony Orchestra with Antonio Pappano and Lisa Batiashvili, and the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI led by Kirill Petrenko.

The 2025 season of the Bologna Festival's Great Performers brought together seven high-profile evenings. The opening concert on May 2nd, at PalaDozza, featured the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Riccardo Muti in works by Rossini, Verdi, and Brahms. At the Manzoni Auditorium, the duo Sol Gabetta and Bertrand Chamayou, the Cameristi della Scala with Angela Hewitt, the recital by Andrea Lucchesini, Europa Galante with Fabio Biondi, and the London Symphony Orchestra with Antonio Pappano and violinist Lisa Batiashvili (June 9th) followed. The series concluded on October 17th with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI conducted by Kirill Petrenko in Beethoven and Bartók. A program that confirmed Bologna among the Italian capitals of great music.
