Edition 2025 — Boccascena
The 8th edition of Boccascena brought theatre to the hamlets of Borgo San Lorenzo during the summer of 2025. The festival opened on Thursday, July 3, at 9:15 PM, in the public garden of Panicaglia with Modernità e Radici – Storytelling, by Pietro Dreoni and Beatrice Niccolai, a journey that intertwined poetry, music, and reflections on the relationship between past and present.
On Sunday, July 6, at the Pro Loco headquarters in Ronta, the play Avevo un nonno che si chiamava Nanni (I had a grandfather named Nanni) was performed, with Marco Paoli and Francesco Fuligni, based on the book Il re della giostra: a story of rural life and war accompanied by folk music. The events, featuring theatrical storytelling, puppet theatre, music, and poetry for adults and children, continued in the other hamlets of the municipality with free-will donations.
