Boccaccesca

The 27th edition of Boccaccesca brought the village of Certaldo Alto to life from Thursday, October 9 to Sunday, October 12, 2025, organized by the Municipality of Certaldo with Confesercenti Firenze and Claridea 2. The opening on October 9, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, inaugurated the artisanal and food market and the "Verso i Piaceri del Gusto" toast in Piazza SS. Annunziata.

In the following days, with continuous hours from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, tastings took place at the Wine Bar in the Church of SS. Tommaso e Prospero, along with stalls of excellence along Via Boccaccio and cooking shows in Piazzetta Branca on the theme of Tuscany and Japan in the kitchen. Among the highlights were the "Oggi cucino io" workshop for children with Sara Conforti and the presentation of the Boccaccesca Award to the twin city of Kanramachi, linked to Certaldo for over forty years, which culminated in a Japanese tea ceremony. In this edition as well, the Cipolla di Certaldo, a Slow Food presidium, was among the stars of the festival.
