Bobbio Film Festival

The 28th edition of the Bobbio Film Festival, from August 1 to 10, 2025, brought some of the most important names in Italian cinema to Bobbio. Among the protagonists of the evenings were Gianni Amelio with Campo di battaglia, Francesca Comencini with Il tempo che ci vuole, Mario Martone with Fuori, and the Manetti Bros. with U.S. Palmese, along with the debut films by Edgardo Pistone and Lorenzo Pullega.

The screenings in the Cloister of San Colombano were accompanied by meetings with directors and actors. The closing evening on August 10 hosted the award ceremony for the Gobbo d'oro, an award given by the students of the Fondazione Fare Cinema's film criticism course.
