Edition 2025 — Blue Monk Festival
The eleventh edition of the Blue Monk Festival took place from June 26 to September 6, 2025, confirming the traveling format between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta with eleven free-admission concerts.
The series kicked off on June 26 at the church of San Maiolo in Agrano di Omegna with a bandoneon solo by Daniele Di Bonaventura, before moving to Villa Marazza in Borgomanero (Luca Falomi and Sonia Spinello, Michael Jennings on piano), Pella, the church of San Lorenzo in Gozzano (Marta Frigo), the Neogothic Park of Ameno, and Orta San Giulio with the Middleland Trio and the SuMarte project. Other protagonists included Emanuele Sartoris in Piazza Motta in Orta, the Genève Duo in Borgo Ticino, and, for the closing on September 6, Ashti Abdo and Sonia Spinello at the Cantine Castello Conti in Maggiora.
Alongside the concerts, the edition featured live painting, book presentations, wine tastings, and two charity evenings in support of LILT Verbano Cusio Ossola and the Mezzaluna Rossa Kurdistan Italia.
