Blue Fish Festival

The 2025 edition of the Blue Fish Festival was held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the village of San Gregorio in Capo d'Orlando, proving to be a great public success. The village square transformed into a large place of meeting, conviviality, and tradition, with tastings served until late at night.

On the tables, the stars were pennette with squid ragù and fried anchovies, accompanied by the music and dancing of the group Peppe & Piero, which enlivened the evening. An emotional moment was dedicated to the village's veteran fishermen through a video, while Mayor Franco Ingrillì and Councilor Carmelo Galipò embraced the family of Antonio Mentesana, the young fisherman to whom the festival is dedicated.

True to its charitable vocation, the entire profit from the event was donated to the children of the Lega del Filo d'Oro of Termini Imerese. The free event was organized by the organizing committee with the support of the Municipality of Capo d'Orlando and numerous sponsors.
