Blu Etrusco Festival

The 10th edition of the Blu Etrusco Festival took place in Murlo (Siena) on August 23 and 24, 2025, with the theme "The Origins" celebrating the ten years of the event. On Saturday the 23rd, the Etruscan market opened at 5:00 PM in the historic center, followed by lectures with archaeologists and scholars; in the evening, there was a wine tasting in the Cathedral square, a concert, and the evocative re-enactment of the Etruscan funeral by torchlight.

On Sunday the 24th, the market reopened at 11:00 AM, with a new cycle of lectures in the afternoon and an evening concert dedicated to singer-songwriter music. Throughout the weekend, there were experimental archaeology workshops (bronze, iron, pottery working, and wine production), free guided archeotrekking to Poggio Civitate, and reconstructions of the symposium and the gynaecium inside the museum. Most activities were free to enter.
