Edition 2025 — Blockhaus Marathon

The 2025 edition of the Blockhaus Marathon took place on Sunday, June 15, with amateur cyclists tackling the routes towards the Blockhaus climb. This edition, organized by the ASD Extreme Team, also offered three routes of varying difficulty in the heart of the Maiella mountains in Abruzzo.

The 2025 Blockhaus Marathon was held on Sunday, June 15, confirming the formula that has made this granfondo one of the most appreciated events on the Abruzzo amateur cycling calendar. Participants tackled three routes of varying lengths—from the long 140 km track to the more accessible medium and short ones—culminating in the grueling ascent to the Blockhaus, the Giant of Abruzzo on the slopes of the Maiella. The edition confirmed the strong bond between the event, the territory of Tocco da Casauria, and the roads of great cycling, setting the stage for the ninth edition in 2026.
