Bitonto Blues Festival

The 2025 edition of the Bitonto Blues Festival, the thirteenth, animated the Piazza Cattedrale of Bitonto from Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7, with six free-admission concerts, two each evening (9:00 PM and 10:30 PM). Every night, starting at 8:30 PM, host Pierluigi Morizio introduced the evening with "Focus Talks," short insights into energy, environment, sports, and culture, while the concerts were broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube.

The festival, curated by artistic director Beppe Granieri and organized by the BLU & SOCI Cultural Association, was co-funded by the Municipality of Bitonto and the Bari Chamber of Commerce, confirming its status as one of the most significant blues events in Puglia.

Friday, September 5

• 9:00 PM — Gianluca De Palo Band (acoustic blues, fingerstyle, and harmonica)
• 10:30 PM — X-Jam Band with Deviana P. Morgan (rhythm & blues, tribute to female black music)

Saturday, September 6

• 9:00 PM — Giacomo Caliolo & The Blues Groovers
• 10:30 PM — The Twisters with Alice Violato (swing, rhythm & blues, groove)

Sunday, September 7

• 9:00 PM — Vi-Rey Band (soul, funk, rhythm & blues)
• 10:30 PM — Marco Bartoccioni "Bartok" Band (experimental project blending blues, rock, and electronics with lap steel guitar)

Each evening was preceded, starting at 8:30 PM, by "Focus Talks" hosted by Pierluigi Morizio.
