BITart Festival

BITart Festival 2025 — 5th edition

On 12 and 13 September 2025, Bitritto hosted the fifth edition of the BITart Festival, with Piazza Leone and the Norman-Swabian Castle transformed into an open-air stage for the performing arts. The event, organised by the Compagnia Teatrale Reforma, featured theatre, dance, music, juggling, and street magic, alongside photography exhibitions, art workshops, and activities for children and families.

The first evening combined animated readings and the Journey into the World of OZ workshop at the Castle with performances in the square, including dance, music, and theatrical acts. The second evening featured juggling, clowning, and the multi-artistic show La rue de l'amour, with street magic, theatrical performances, and live music. All evenings were free to attend.

Friday 12 September

• 18:00 — Castle: animated readings and Journey into the World of OZ workshop
• 19:30 — Piazza Leone: dance performance (Tropicalismo Dance)
• 20:00 — Musical performance by the I.C. Massari-Galilei Youth Band
• 20:15 — Theatrical show OZ - the hurricane, the witch, the magic
• 21:00 — Dance performance (Accademia Il Cigno)
• 21:30 — Musical show Canta che ti passa

Saturday 13 September

• 20:00 — Juggling and clowning show
• 20:30 — Multi-artistic show La rue de l'amour: street magic, theatrical performances, and live music with Akeem Dosso on sax and Mariachiara Cacace on piano

Parallel activities

Photography exhibitions, art workshops, craft stalls, face painting, games for children, and fundraising in support of UNICEF.
