Edition 2025 — Bismantova Meet

In 2025, the Italian Academic Alpine Club's climbing gathering for young climbers had not yet moved to the Pietra di Bismantova: that year's edition, known as the Sarca Climbing Meet, took place from May 16th to 18th in Valle del Sarca, Arco (Trento), with nearly one hundred participants, including young climbers and Academicians. It is from this format, which was very successful, that the Bismantova Meet 2026 was born.

The 2025 edition of the Italian Academic Alpine Club's gathering for young climbers was held in Valle del Sarca, Arco, from May 16th to 18th, under the name Sarca Climbing Meet. The gathering brought together nearly one hundred young climbers and Academicians for three days of climbing on the Sarca cliffs and interaction with more experienced climbers.

The success of that formula, launched the previous year to open the doors of high-level mountaineering to young people, prompted the CAAI to make the initiative itinerant: in 2026, the baton passed to the Reggio Emilia Apennines and the Pietra di Bismantova, where the gathering debuted in Castelnovo ne' Monti.
