Edition 2025 — Biondo Chestnut Festival
The 2025 edition of the Biondo Chestnut Festival took place in Loiano on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The festival celebrated the prized chestnut of the Bolognese Apennines with food stalls, freshly roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and live musical entertainment, attracting visitors from all over the province of Bologna for a day of celebration amidst the flavors and colors of the Emilian autumn.
The 2025 Edition
The Biondo Chestnut Festival 2025 was held in Loiano on Sunday, October 19, confirming the autumn event dedicated to the typical chestnut of the Bolognese Hills. The festival offered food stalls with traditional dishes, roasted chestnuts, and mulled wine, accompanied by musical entertainment.
Organized by the Pro Loco of Loiano, the festival once again in 2025 provided an opportunity to promote the Marrone Biondo and the peasant traditions of the Bolognese Apennines, in Emilia-Romagna.
