Bimbinfesta – Childhood and Family Festival

Bimbinfesta 2025 – "Stories of Peace"

The fifth edition of Bimbinfesta was held from October 6 to November 30, 2025, with the theme "Stories of Peace". The widespread festival united Polignano a Mare, Conversano, Monopoli, Valenzano, and the municipalities of the Putignano territorial area (Putignano, Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Locorotondo, and Noci), involving approximately 3,000 children through fifteen local educational institutions.

Promoted by the social cooperatives Imago, Itaca, and SoleLuna and directed by Oreste Castagna of Rai Yoyo, the edition dedicated the first week to the "In festa con Oreste" (Celebrating with Oreste) series, featuring shows and storytelling for the little ones. Alongside the events for children, training sessions for adults were held, including a meeting dedicated to the image of minors in media and social networks. The activities, free of charge, combined shows, animated readings, and workshops in libraries, schools, and early childhood services.

Monday, October 6 — Polignano a Mare

• 15:30 — Official presentation of the festival, "Raffaele Chiantera" Community Library
• 16:00 — Training meeting for journalists: "The image of minors in media and social media"

October 6-12 — "In festa con Oreste"

Inaugural week with shows and storytelling for children by Oreste Castagna, at various venues in the participating municipalities.

October-November — Widespread festival

• Theatrical shows and animated readings for the 0-6 age group
• Creative workshops in preschools and nurseries
• Training sessions for parents, educators, and teachers
• "La storia di Ella", storytelling by Annamaria Ottomanelli with Mingo De Pasquale, at the Community Library

The festival concluded with a final meeting dedicated to territorial pedagogical coordination and educational continuity in the zero-to-six system.
