Edition 2025 — BilBOlbul

In 2025, BilBOlbul was not held in its widespread festival format but continued as an active project throughout the year. Hamelin Cultural Association continued its work promoting comics and visual literacy in schools, libraries, and bookstores in Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna region, while simultaneously preparing for the festival's return with the tenth-anniversary edition scheduled for 2026.

BilBOlbul in 2025

Throughout 2025, BilBOlbul kept its activity alive in Bologna as an ongoing project curated by Hamelin Cultural Association, although without a full-fledged widespread festival edition.

The activities focused particularly on promoting reading and visual education in schools, libraries, and bookstores in the Emilia-Romagna region, in line with the mission that has always accompanied the event. This work served as preparation for the festival's return, expected in 2026 with the edition celebrating BilBOlbul's ten years.
