The 2025 edition in Rome
On Thursday, September 18, 2025, from the early hours of the morning and throughout the day, Bike to Work Day involved workers from the Roman territory and the rest of the Lazio region. The event was part of European Mobility Week 2025 (September 16-22), which the Municipality of Rome framed with the slogan "Mobility for all," featuring events spread across the districts on road safety, accessibility, cycling, and pedestrian mobility.
Among the promoters, the CNR organized its day through its Mobility Manager's office, asking staff to report the kilometers traveled by bicycle to award a symbolic recognition to the most sustainable operational unit. A simple format, replicated by numerous organizations and companies in the capital, which confirmed the widespread and participatory formula of the initiative promoted at the national level by FIAB.
