Edition 2025 — Between Castles and Rice Fields

In 2025, the Between Castles and Rice Fields non-competitive walk once again enlivened Rovasenda, in the province of Vercelli, as part of the Sagra dell'Assunta. Organized by Atletica Valsesia, the event featured a route between the village castle and the organic rice fields of the Baraggia, with a 10 km long track and a short one suitable for families and children.

The 2025 edition of Between Castles and Rice Fields confirmed the non-competitive walk event in Rovasenda, in the heart of the Vercelli Baraggia. The event, organized by Atletica Valsesia, accompanied runners and walkers along the characteristic route between the medieval castle and the organic rice fields of the area, with a long track of about 10 km and a short route designed for families. As per tradition, the event took place within the festivities of the Sagra dell'Assunta, amidst sport, landscape, and village conviviality.
