The 46th edition: «Lingue Rinascenti»

The 2025 edition of Benevento Città Spettacolo, the 46th in the festival's history, was announced by Mayor Clemente Mastella together with the Councillor for Culture Antonella Tartaglia Polcini and the Director of the Foundation Oberdan Picucci, with the artistic direction of Renato Giordano. The chosen theme, «Lingue Rinascenti», guided a programme built on the encounter between different languages: theatre, music, cinema, dance, literary meetings, exhibitions, and gastronomic events.

The programme occupied theatres, churches, gardens, and squares of the Municipality of Benevento, in Campania, in parallel, with dozens of daily events, exhibitions, and editorial presentations. The festival also hosted the 19th edition of the lifetime achievement award «La musica a Benevento. I protagonisti».
