Edition 2025 — Befana in Villalvernia

In 2025, Villalvernia once again celebrated the Epiphany with its Befana Festival in Piazza Sicbaldi. The Pro Loco hosted the traditional day dedicated to children, with stockings for all the kids, sweets, hot drinks, and the grand bonfire to close the Christmas holidays in the small village of the Tortona area.

On January 6, 2025, Piazza Sicbaldi hosted that year's edition of the Befana Festival, an unmissable winter appointment in Villalvernia.

As per tradition, the day saw the arrival of the Befana with stockings for all the children, accompanied by the distribution of panettone, hot chocolate, and mulled wine offered by the Pro Loco. The festival concluded with the customary grand bonfire, which brought families and residents together around the fire to bid farewell to the Christmas holidays. A free event deeply rooted in the popular customs of the village, in the province of Alessandria.
