Beata Giovanna Festival of Signa

In 2025, the Beata Giovanna Festival enlivened Signa, in the province of Florence, from April 20 to 22. On Easter Sunday, at 6:50 PM in the church of San Lorenzo, a delegation of the Historical Pageant - composed of the Gonfaloniere, armed guards, and the Musicians' Corps - opened the celebrations together with the Venerabile Compagnia del Santissimo Sacramento e dello Spirito Santo.

On Easter Monday, as per tradition, the Historical Pageant and flag-wavers paraded through the center streets along a route starting and ending in Piazza Cavour, in a re-enactment that attracts numerous visitors every year. The days concluded with religious rites linked to the Beata's urn, reaffirming the deep bond between the community of Signa and its patron saint.
