Edition 2025 — Batailles des Chèvres La Thuile

In 2025, La Thuile also hosted a stage of the Battaglia delle Capre, an Aosta Valley tradition born in 1981. Goats competed with their horns in non-violent contests, in a day of celebration for the community and visitors, as part of the Batailles des Chèvres calendar that runs through the region from spring to November.

In 2025, the Battaglia delle Capre also made a stop in La Thuile, as part of the regional calendar of the Batailles des Chèvres. As tradition dictates, breeders brought the best local specimens for horn-to-horn challenges, natural and non-violent contests where the goat that defeats the most opponents wins. The event, festive and family-friendly, confirmed the value of a tradition rooted in the agricultural culture of the Aosta Valley, which since 1981 has combined passion for breeding with community spirit.
