Edition 2025 — Batailles de Reines
In 2025, Saint-Marcel also hosted an elimination round of the Regional Competition of the Batailles de Reines. Cows of the Aosta breed competed in various categories to qualify for the final, in a day of tradition and popular celebration.
In 2025, the Municipality of Saint-Marcel renewed its appointment with one of the eliminations of the Regional Competition of the Batailles de Reines. Cows of the Aosta breed, divided by category, competed in the arena to the cheers of breeders and enthusiasts, seeking qualification for the regional final. Around the competition, food stalls with typical products were present, making this zootechnical tradition a true Aosta Valley community celebration.
