Edition 2025 — Batailles de Reines Pont-Saint-Martin

In 2025, Pont-Saint-Martin also hosted the opening elimination round of the Regional Competition of the Batailles de Reines, the first stage of the Aosta Valley queens' season. Hundreds of Aosta Valley breed cows competed in weight categories to qualify for the regional final, on a day of great public participation.

The 2025 edition of the Pont-Saint-Martin elimination round opened the season of the Batailles de Reines, the traditional challenges between Aosta Valley breed cows. As tradition dictates, the first town in the Aosta Valley encountered when arriving from Piedmont kicked off the Regional Competition.

The cows, divided into weight categories, competed for the first points of the season; the top-ranked queens earned their spot in the regional final. A day that combined sport, farming tradition, and community celebration, deeply rooted in the Aosta Valley's identity.
