Edition 2025 — Batailles de Reines Mont-Blanc

In 2025, the Mont-Blanc / Courmayeur eliminatory of the Batailles de Reines took place at the end of September in Val Veny, confirming the autumn event that has drawn breeders and enthusiasts to the foot of Mont Blanc for years. Aosta Valley breed cows competed in various weight categories to earn qualification for the regional final in Aosta.

The 2025 edition of the Courmayeur eliminatory renewed the autumn ritual of the Batailles de Reines in the setting of Val Veny. As tradition dictates, Aosta Valley cows competed, divided by weight categories, before a large audience of breeders and visitors. The day confirmed itself as one of the most cherished events on the regional calendar, combining a passion for animals, Alpine folklore, and the conviviality of Aosta Valley village festivals, with typical product stalls accompanying the competition.
