Bastürnon Festival

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Bastürnon, the 49th, was held in Tuna di Gazzola (PC) on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October. For 2025, the event once again offered its tried-and-tested autumn chestnut festival format.

On Saturday 4 October, the food stand opened at 7:00 PM, followed by a dancing evening with the Orchestra Monti. On Sunday 5 October, the festival continued with the food stand open all day and, from the afternoon, with popular games, a charity stall, and the traditional greasy pole.

On the table, the usual stars: roasted chestnuts, tortelli, Piacenza cured meats, bread, and homemade cakes, accompanied by local wines. The festival, organised by the Pro Loco of Tuna, was held indoors in case of bad weather.
