Bassa Centrico Festival

The Bassa Centrico Festival debuted in 2026: therefore, there is no 2025 edition of the widespread event that brings together the eight municipalities of the Bassa Reggiana Union. Even before the festival's inception, however, Poviglio, in the province of Reggio Emilia, was a recognized destination for archaeology enthusiasts thanks to the Terramara Santa Rosa, one of the most important Bronze Age villages in Northern Italy, and its Terramara Museum. Visits to the site, school workshops, and nature initiatives related to reclamation areas already told the story of the deep connection between this corner of the Bassa and its millennia-old history. The Bassa Centrico Festival then united these experiences into a single itinerary through the nature, culture, and food and wine of the Po River and Gonzaga Lands.
