Baskin Dream Cup

From June 6 to 8, 2025, Buonabitacolo hosted the first edition of the Baskin Dream Cup, a national baskin tournament promoted by the social cooperative Il Sentiero with the patronage of EISI (Italian Inclusive Sports Body) and the Italian Paralympic Committee, as part of the cultural and sports services program funded by PNRR funds.

Four teams took the field: Eureka Baskin Monza, Baskinsieme Napoli, Ischia Baskin, and Il Sentiero Baskin, the home team founded in 2021 and the first baskin reality in the province of Salerno. After the Friday and Saturday matches, Sunday awarded the trophy to Eureka Baskin Monza, winner of the final against Baskinsieme Napoli.

The event's testimonial was Valerio Amoroso, a former Serie A and Italian national team player, who for the occasion made his debut in baskin in the number 5 role. At the closing ceremony, Mayor Giancarlo Guercio awarded all the athletes present. Off the field, the organizers took teams and staff to visit the Pertosa-Auletta Caves, while the evenings were enlivened by music and dancing.
