Basil Hofer Lauf

The 7th Basil Hofer Lauf was held in the summer of 2025 in San Giacomo (St. Jakob), in the Municipality of Val di Vizze (Pfitsch), South Tyrol. The event, managed by the ASV Pfitscher Eisbären, confirmed its well-established format: the main race of approximately 10 km with 348 meters of elevation gain starting in San Giacomo, accompanied by races for the little ones and the category for walkers.

As in previous editions, the day concluded with the awards ceremony and the traditional Dämmerschoppen in good company, among athletes from Wipptal clubs and the valley's public. An edition that reaffirmed the race's deep roots in the Pfitsch community and its connection to the historic Basil Hofer Marsch.
