In 2025, the Basil and 'Du Cen' Festival once again enlivened the historic center of Vallecrosia with its typical basil dishes, traditional Ligurian stuffed vegetables, and musical evenings with an orchestra, confirming its status as a highly anticipated summer event in the Imperia region.
The 2025 edition of the Basil and 'Du Cen' Festival took place in the historic center of Vallecrosia as part of the town's summer program. The stands offered specialties of western Ligurian cuisine: stuffed zucchini flowers, zucchini, peppers, eggplants, and cabbage, along with basil recipes. The event, accompanied by the Festival of Stuffing, attracted residents and tourists to the village's narrow streets, with live music and dancing evenings.
