Edition 2025 — Baroque Randonnée

The seventh edition of the Baroque Randonnée took place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, starting and finishing at the Belvedere in Syracuse. The event, organized by ASD Nuova Ortigia, offered two routes at the classic distances of 200 and 100 km, pushing into the heart of the Iblei Mountains and concluding with a pleasant stretch along the Ionian coast. The registration fee was 20 euros.

The 2025 Baroque Randonnée, the seventh edition of the event, was held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, with departures from the Belvedere in Syracuse between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. The brevet, organized by ASD Nuova Ortigia, offered two tracks: the long 200 km route with 2,792 meters of elevation gain and the short 100 km route with 1,200 meters of elevation gain.

The long track reached an altitude of 725 meters at Palazzolo Acreide (km 111), then descended towards the Ionian Sea near Avola (km 155) and Cassibile (km 166), with three official checkpoints and passages through Carlentini, Sortino, Floridia, and Palazzolo Acreide. The finish skirted the Maddalena peninsula and Capo Murro di Porco. The registration fee was 20 euros, with registration closing on May 8.
