Edition 2025 — Baroque Days

The Baroque Days was conceived as a new project: the very first edition of the review took place in May 2026. In 2025, the event had not yet occurred, but the rich Baroque heritage of the lands of Bologna — churches, art galleries, and works from the 17th and 18th centuries in Medicina, Budrio, Pieve di Cento, and San Giovanni in Persiceto — was already at the heart of the cultural tradition that the review would later celebrate.

The Baroque Days review debuted with its inaugural edition in May 2026: in 2025, the project had not yet taken place. However, the heritage that the event celebrates was already preserved in the places of the Bolognese territory: the churches and art galleries of Medicina, Budrio, Pieve di Cento, San Giovanni in Persiceto, and Bologna have housed masterpieces of the Emilian 17th and 18th centuries for centuries, including the works of sculptor Angelo Gabriello Piò, architect Alfonso Torregiani, and the sacred music of the Medicina composer Elia Vannini. It is from this rich artistic fabric that the first edition of the Baroque Days was born, the following year.
