The 2025 Brindisi Stage
The 28th edition of the Barocco Festival Leonardo Leo, inaugurated on August 23, 2025, at the Castello Dentice di Frasso in San Vito dei Normanni, stopped in Brindisi on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 9:00 PM. The concert was held in the historic Palazzo Montenegro, in the city's harbour area.
The programme, titled "Le guerre… quelle musicali!" (Wars… musical ones!), featured music by Leonardo Leo, Vivaldi, Handel, and Marcello, interpreted by the Baroque orchestra La Confraternita de' Musici, conducted by Maestro Cosimo Prontera, with soprano Michela Antenucci. The evening was a genuine success, drawing a large audience and celebrating the Baroque musical heritage of Puglia.
