Bargo-Esteri Festival

The 2025 edition of the Bargo-Esteri Festival was held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Pasticceria Lucchesi in Barga, with 130 participants. After greetings from the authorities, the dinner was enlivened by the duo Federica Piacentini and Bruno Campani with timeless Italian traditional music, while baritone Bruno Caproni gave a touching performance of "'O sole mio." The Real Piangrande district presented a choreography on the theme of migration and hospitality, featuring a large globe opening up to reveal the most beautiful places in Barga. The evening, promoted by the Municipality of Barga, the Giornale di Barga, and the Pro Loco with the patronage of Unitre and Barga-Scot, alternated between joy and emotion, confirming the strength of the bond between the village and its emigrants around the world.
