Barga Chestnut Festival

The 2025 edition of the Barga Chestnut Festival was held from October 31 to November 2 in Piazza Pascoli in Barga. The program combined gastronomy, music, and tradition over the three days of the festival.

On Friday, October 31, the stands opened at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner in the square from 7:30 PM and a Halloween evening with music by Strada Momento Soul. Saturday, November 1, featured lunch and dinner in the square, the charity parade "Il sogno di Valentina," the chestnut roasters' competition at 5:30 PM, and evening dancing with Luis Rondina. Sunday, November 2, included lunch in the square, traditional games for children, and an afternoon of swing music. Specialties served included roasted chestnuts, necci with ricotta or cream, castagnaccio, and bombonecci.
