Barga 2026 - Castle of Art

The 2025 art season in Barga took place from May to October with 24 events distributed between the Municipal Gallery, the Rooms of Memory, the Ricci Foundation, the MUDY, and other spaces in the area. The exhibition, curated by Gianguido Grassi, opened on May 17 with the fifth edition of the group exhibition InComune, which brought together fifteen artists, including Swietlan Nick Kraczyna.

Throughout the season, numerous solo exhibitions followed, including "Pittura Pittura" by Giorgio Bartocci, "Big and Small" by Sandra Rigali, the landscape exhibition "Barga Enchanted", and "Essentiality of Matter" by Ciredz. The initiative, supported by the Municipality of Barga, confirmed the village's vocation as a dispersed museum and a laboratory for contemporary art.
