Edition 2025 — Snail Festival

The 52nd edition of the Barbarano Romano Snail Festival took place from September 5th to 7th, 2025, centered in Piazza Armando Diaz, as part of the September festivities for the Nativity of Mary. The Pro Loco kitchens served snails cooked according to the traditional recipe along with Tuscia specialties, accompanied by live music, shows, and entertainment for all ages.

The 52nd Snail Festival

From September 5 to 7, 2025, Barbarano Romano celebrated the 52nd edition of the Snail Festival, the highlight of the September festivities in honor of the Nativity of Mary. The food stalls, set up in Piazza Armando Diaz and the streets of the historic center, offered snails prepared in the traditional way alongside local delicacies.

The evenings were enlivened by free live concerts, DJ sets, and shows, with briscola tournaments, performances, and theatrical moments, while the afternoons offered activities for children. The event was part of the broader calendar of the September festivities, with the Barbarano community starring in a tradition spanning over half a century.
