Edition 2025 — Baraonda
Baraonda 2025 brought Fermo and Porto San Giorgio together from February 16th to March 4th, with a widespread program involving schools, associations, and citizens of all ages. The festival began on February 16th with the lighting of the lantern in Piazza del Popolo in Fermo. On February 22nd and 23rd, Carnival intertwined with the Artisan Chocolate Festival in Fermo, while on Thursday, February 27th, the event came alive with the morning ceremony in Capodarco and the symbolic handover of the city keys to the King Carnivals.
The main parades saw the participation of 16 groups in Fermo on Sunday, March 2nd, and 15 groups in Porto San Giorgio on Tuesday, March 4th, starting at 3:00 PM from via Giordano Bruno along viale Buozzi, Piazza Matteotti, viale Cavallotti, and viale Don Minzoni. The grand finale in Porto San Giorgio concluded with the traditional burning of King Carnival.
