Edition 2025 — Baracca e Burattini

In 2025, Baracca e Burattini celebrated its twentieth anniversary with the XX edition, scheduled from June 10 to August 29. The festival featured about thirty shows in seventeen municipalities of the province of Reggio Emilia, including Quattro Castella, with puppets, marionettes, storytelling, and actor's theatre. All events, with free admission, started at 9:30 PM.

The festival's twentieth anniversary

The twentieth edition of Baracca e Burattini, scheduled from June 10 to August 29, 2025, marked an important milestone: twenty years of the festival. The XX edition brought about thirty shows to seventeen municipalities in the Reggio Emilia area, from Fabbrico and Novellara to Casina, Canossa, Rubiera, and Sant'Ilario d'Enza, including Quattro Castella.

The program alternated between puppets, marionettes, storytelling, and actor's theatre, with all shows held outdoors and free of charge, usually starting at 9:30 PM. A season lasting an entire summer, supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region and Coop Alleanza 3.0.
