Thirty years of Bandalarga

The 2025 edition marked the thirtieth anniversary of the festival, promoted by the Municipality of Conversano under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Puglia Region, and A.N.B.I.M.A. Sixteen evenings spanned the summer, from the inaugural «Musica forever» concert on June 26 with the Ligonzo Band, soprano Federica Guida, and tenor Vincenzo Costanzo, to the grand opera event in mid-August.

Highlights included the performance by the Carabinieri Band (July 3), the 7th Symphonic March Competition (July 13), the «Disney Opera» by the Tebaide Orchestra and Choir (July 18), and numerous guest ensembles from across Southern Italy. The closing event on August 13 at the Belvedere Amphitheatre featured Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly with the Ligonzo Orchestra conducted by Luigi Travaglio.
