Edition 2025 — Pignoletto Rosso Corn Festival

The 2025 edition of the Banchette Pignoletto Rosso Corn Festival took place on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, in the town center, with the main hub along Via Roma. The star of the show was the new harvest polenta, served with sausage, Barbera-braised beef, chicken cacciatore, cheeses, Canavese DOC wines, and roasted chestnuts, alongside a market of local products, corn threshing, and numerous exhibitions and performances.

The 2025 Edition

The Banchette Pignoletto Rosso Corn Festival returned on October 25 and 26, 2025, enlivening the streets of the center with its customary market exhibition of food and artisanal products from Piedmont, the Aosta Valley, and Liguria. Tastings of polenta concia and Canavese specialties were centered at the Via Roma bocce court.

Highlights of the year included: the "At the Court of King Pignoletto" historical costume parade, threshing and milling demonstrations, an educational farm, as well as displays of Lego brick creations, model airplanes with flight simulators, vintage cars, and Olivetti memorabilia, with Occitan music and storytellers accompanying the days.

Programme

Saturday, October 25, from 2:00 PM: opening at the Emilio Pinchia hall with a Lego brick exhibition curated by the Torino Bricks association; at 5:00 PM, along Via Roma, the "At the Court of King Pignoletto" historical costume parade; from 6:30 PM, at the Via Roma bocce court, tasting of 2025 harvest polenta with sausage, stew, braised beef, chicken cacciatore, and cheeses.
